It's surprising how many different products and services you need when you're a dog owner.  Most of us tend to rely on recommendation but if you're new to the Island or no one can offer the information you need, some of these might be helpful.  If you have any useful links that you think the membership would appreciate, let us know;

http://www.agilitynet.net/  This is the site that tells you pretty much everything you need to know about Agility events, news, advertisers etc.  You can find most of the show schedules there and book online too.

http://www.obedienceuk.com/  Offers schedules, show reports, training tips, advertisers - plenty of links as well.

http://www.iwight.com/ For the Isle of Wight Council and all relevant services

http://www.riverbankvet.co.uk/  Large veterinary practice with surgery's in Newport, Cowes, Lake and Ryde.  You'll find a comprehensive website at this address detailing the services etc.

http://www.brickfields.net/  As well as being one of our weekly training venues Brickfields is a huge Island attraction for the whole family.  Whether you want to see one of the biggest shire horses in Europe or take riding lessons, Brickfields will oblige.  Visit their site, there's loads to do.

Russell Becque is based in Portsmouth, he's a renowned dog behaviourist and trainer. Russell holds many behavioural clinics throughout the year, if you have a problem dog with aggression or any other issue, then he may be able to help, watch this space for up coming clinics/events.
