SUMMER DEMONSTRATIONS

We are now taking names from anybody who is a member of the Isle of Wight Dog Training Society and is interested in taking part in our summer demonstration, please contact your venue trainer so you can be included.

LIVER CAKE RECIPE 

Why not treat your dog to some good old fashioned home cooking.  Make up a batch of liver cake to use for treats or training titbits. 

A lot of obedience handlers use this and it is tastier and healthier than many other treats. Your dog will love it! 

INGREDIENTS:

1LB OF PIGS LIVER, 1/2 LB OF ANY FLOUR, 1/2 OR 1 CLOVE OF GARLIC, 1 EGG

METHOD:

Liquidise liver - a bit at a time, add egg and garlic.  Transfer to a mixing bowl and add flour.  Turn into a greased foil lined baking tray and cook on gas mark 6 or 200 for electric ovens for 35 - 45 minutes.  Allow to cool, cut into to small pieces bag it up and freeze, defrost when required this liver cake will keep for about 6 days in the fridge once defrosted.
